University Hospital Münster east tower

Münster University Hospital is a renowned maximum care hospital in Münster. In order to allow patients with their relatives and visitors to escape the daily hospital routine for a while, a cafeteria with a wonderful view over the roofs of Münster was built on the roof of the east tower.

Goracon equipped the entire level (around 700 square meters) with a hollow core floor. Already during the planning phase, the floor area was adapted to the different rooms or construction heights and necessary expansion joints were taken into account. Height differences were compensated by ramps, so that the circular cafeteria, the lounge as well as the sanitary facilities are now barrier-free accessible for everyone.
