goracon installs LED display panel in Emsdetten Ems-Halle

To make the home match experience even more attractive for spectators and TVE partners, goracon is installing a new LED scoreboard in the Ems-Halle and extending its exclusive partner contract with TVE.

goracon systemtechnik gmbh, headquartered in Steinfurt, has already been a satisfied partner of TV Emsdetten for many years. The fact that the contract between goracon and the TVE has now been extended ahead of schedule was therefore to be expected. The planning has also been underway for several months and now it is certain that the Ems-Halle will get an LED wall of about eight square meters from goracon. The nearly 4 x 2 meter display panel will be erected on the front side of the hall in the direction of the main entrance and is already scheduled to go into operation during the first half of 2023.

"The LED wall gives us many new possibilities in terms of attractiveness and marketing of our home games," says a satisfied TVE General Manager Florian Ostendorf. "A big thank you goes at this point to our partner goracon, the city of Emsdetten and Stroetmanns Fabrik. Without the close cooperation, realization would not have been possible. This innovation is of enormous importance to us in order to remain competitive in the event of a possible return to the second Bundesliga until a new hall solution, which continues to be imperative, is found. We are thus investing once again in the Ems-Halle in order not to completely lose touch with our competitors. As we have already mentioned several times, we cannot meet the requirements of the HBL in the Ems-Halle anyway, but with the new digital presentation area we can raise the home game experience for our loyal spectators to a new level and also give our partners completely new possibilities for presentation. The next few weeks and months will now be about producing the right content for us and our partners."

But it's not just TVE that will benefit from the new LED scoreboard. The city of Emsdetten, Stroetmanns Fabrik and all other users will also have additional possibilities in terms of presentation and marketing for their events away from handball thanks to the new LED advertising space.
