GSI – SLV Duisburg, as an engineering service provider and educational institution, offers comprehensive training and continuing education in the fields of joining, cutting, and coating technology.

As an innovative service provider, GSI also chose new approaches for the renovation of its lecture halls—moving away from traditional lecture hall seating toward modern and ergonomic furnishings. With this forward-looking decision, training and continuing education now take place in an especially pleasant atmosphere. The raw floor has been raised using our tiered system floor PODIUM. Thanks to our GSF chair-guiding rails, ergonomic seating with individual adjustments is now possible for everyone. Combined with a padded chair model, participants can now enjoy the full comfort of an office swivel chair. Custom-made angled tables with modern media equipment and acoustically effective front panels set new standards. A visually appealing floor covering and integrated step lighting also blend harmoniously into the overall design. Instructors and lecturers are also well accommodated with a matching workstation.
